Does Oak & Hyde run true to size?
We try to keep sizing consistent and use a standard UK to EU size conversion, the size conversion we use can be found on all product pages under our fit tip. Naturally sizing can vary a little style to style due to varying factors such as style, last shape and design which can all affect fit. To help customers make the right choice, we provide a fit tip for each individual style based off feedback and our own fit tests.
Of course, there’s no single size chart to rule them all. One brand’s 39 is another’s 40. But we try to provide our customers with as much information about the fit of each style as possible.

They stock a selection of our most-loved styles in-store, and even better, their team can get any style from our full collection delivered from our local warehouse to the shop floor in under five minutes (yep, you read that right). Monday to Friday, if it’s in our warehouse, it can be in your hands before your coffee cools.
So whether you're after gorgeous boots, dreamy leather sandals, or the softest barefoot shoes this side of the Pyrenees, you can try them on, walk around, do a little twirl, and see exactly how they feel before committing. No more guesswork.

If you’re near Trowbridge, you're in luck. Mastershoe is our official and exclusive partner store… the only place in the UK (actually, the whole world 😅) where you can try the full range in person, and it's not just any store. These guys know shoes. They’ll help you find the right fit, talk through your needs, and offer honest advice. Plus, it smells like new leather in there, which is always a bonus.

Absolutely. Our barefoot range is available to try at Mastershoe too. Designed with flexibility, toe space, and that ground-connected feel in mind, they’re not your average shoes. Trying them on in person is a great shout, especially if you're new to barefoot-style footwear or just want to make sure they feel as good as they look.
