OAK & HYDE Ltd maintains this web site as a service to our customers, and by using our site you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms of use. Please review the following terms and conditions carefully, and check them periodically for changes. If you do not agree to the terms and conditions, you should not review information or obtain goods from this site.

1. Acceptance of Agreement

You agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Terms and Conditions of use Agreement ("Agreement") with respect to our site (the "Site"). This Agreement constitutes the entire and only agreement between us and you, and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous agreements, representations, warranties and understandings with respect to the Site, the content, products or services provided by or through the Site, and the subject matter of this Agreement. This Agreement may be amended by us at any time and from time to time without specific notice to you. The latest Agreement will be posted on the Site, and you should review this Agreement prior to using the Site.

OAK & HYDE LTD at its sole discretion, reserves the right to limit or ban an account/customer for any violation of the User Agreement.

2. Availability

In the event that the goods ordered are not available your order will be cancelled and refunded. We regret that we are unable to keep orders open until further stock arrives, you will need to place a new order at a later date once the new stock has arrived. Where an order cannot be fulfilled because the goods ordered are not available we make no guarantee that further stock will become available at a later date, or at all. All sizes and prices are updated on a daily basis.

3. Prices and Payment

Advertised prices include VAT at the current applicable rate. Prices are subject to change at any time without notice. Your account will be charged at point of purchase. No credit accounts are available. You represent and warrant that if you are purchasing something from us that (i) any credit card information you supply is true, correct and complete, (ii) charges incurred by you will be honoured by your credit card company, and (iii) you will pay the charges incurred by you at the posted prices, including any shipping fees and applicable taxes. Destinations located outside the EU may be subject to customs or import tax charges ('DHL shipping and handling fees'). Oak & Hyde Ltd is not liable to pay these charges, it is the customers responsibility to research and pay any customs or importation fees. These fees vary from country to country, any fees applied will normally be based on the total order value which is a legal requirement and is declared on every parcel.

4. VAT Treatment of Non EU Deliveries

For simplicity, and to avoid any unnecessary customer confusion, all our products are advertised at common prices – worldwide- i.e. each product is the same price regardless of the delivery destination. We are aware that delivery to certain non EU countries can sometimes be exempt from UK VAT, but in practice it is both costly and time consuming to administer a two tier pricing system to cater for this, so all our customers pay the same price (which may or may not include VAT depending on their location)

6. Fraud/Exceptions of Sale

By creating an account on this site, you confirm that the information provided in this form is true and that you agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions of use of this site. Please note that your account can be cancelled without notice if it is determined that false or misleading information has been provided, the Terms and Conditions of use have been violated, or other abuses have occurred as determined by OAK & HYDE LTD in its sole discretion. This includes but is not limited to profanity or any other form of offensive behaviour. If your account has been revoked, OAK & HYDE LTD reserves the right to refuse application or readmission. Orders will not be dispatched until the authenticity of the payment details have been received, and the status of an account has been checked.

We regret we are unable to ship to certain countries. The checkout will show no postage options if the selected country is unavailable.

We regret that we are unable to ship any orders to BFPO or PO BOX addresses.

7. Disclaimer

All responsibility or liability for any damages caused by viruses contained within the electronic file containing the form or document is disclaimed. WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND THAT MAY RESULT FROM USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE OUR SITE.

Our maximum liability to you under all circumstances will be equal to the purchase price you pay for any goods, services or information.

11. Returns Policy

We're thrilled you chose OAK & HYDE LTD for your latest footwear purchase. Understandably, sometimes what arrives at your doorstep might not exactly match the fit or style you had in mind. It's all part of the online shopping adventure, isn't it?

Our aim with the returns policy is to keep things simple and user-friendly. When considering a return, please pack up the shoes and the original shoe box (they're a pair, after all) into a box or bag. We need your order to be returned in their as-new, unworn condition, just as they arrived. And remember, timing is key – you've got 30 days from the original order date to make this happen.

For all the details and steps on how to proceed, simply scroll down and don’t hesitate to reach out if you need any assistance.

There's no need to give us a heads-up before you send an item back to us. Just make sure the shoe box is repackaged in either a plastic bag or cardboard box. Please avoid sticking any tape or postage labels directly on the shoe box.

Also, just a little heads-up – the courier won't be repackaging your items, so that's on you. Don't forget to include a copy of your original invoice or a quick note with your name and order number in your return package. This way, we can easily spot your order once it arrives back with us. We pop invoices in every parcel and send a copy to your email too!

We're all about keeping things fair and square, so if your return comes back with a damaged or defaced box, or if the product is used, soiled, or worn, we'll have to send it back to you. We hope it doesn't come to that!

Of course, we understand that sometimes the box might get a little dinged up in transit – don't worry, this won't impact your return.

12. Exchanges

While we'd love to swap things around for you, our system is set up for refunds only. Once your return is back and has had a once-over by our team, we'll process your refund and let you know via email. If you're eyeing a different size or product, feel free to place a new order.

13. UK Returns

We know returning items can be a bit of a pocket pinch, so we've teamed up with Royal Mail to offer a free tracked returns label. Keep in mind, each label is a two-pair ticket back to us – got more than 2 pairs to send back? You'll need an extra label more than 2 pairs due to insurance limitations. Our label will cover 2 pairs wrapped in the same parcel.

Then, just package up your shoes, attach the label, and pop them over to your local Post Office. Don't forget to keep a note of the tracking number (yep, the one ending in GB) so we can both keep an eye on its journey back. Can't print at home? No worries! There's a QR code included that the Post Office can scan to print your label, isn't that handy!

14. Refunds

As for refunds, we process them within 2 working days, and you'll hear from us via email the moment it's done. Just remember, banks might take an extra 3-5 working days to reflect that refund in your account.

16. Christmas Returns

We're making the holiday season a breeze with our extended Christmas return period! Any order placed from the 1st October is valid for extended Christmas returns up until the 31st January the following year.

All returns must follow our normal returns policy.

17. Order Problems

We pride ourselves on quality, but we know sometimes things don't go as planned. If your order arrives and something isn't quite right, or it seems like there's been a mix-up or a possible fault, there's no need to worry. Drop us an email at support@oakandhyde.co.uk with your order details and a couple of photos showing what's wrong. Our super-friendly customer service team will get back to you within 1 working day, promise.

Unable to capture the issue in a photo? That's okay! We might need to take a look at the item in person. If it turns out there's a manufacturing error or a mistake on our end, we'll provide you with a free returns label, making the return process smooth and cost-free for you.

Just a heads up, though: if the issue isn't related to the product's craftmanship, or if a return is made without contacting us first, we might need to ask you to cover the return postage. And remember, any returns need to happen within 30 days after we give the green light.

Thinking of handling the return on your own or without chatting to us first? While we totally understand, please note that we can't cover the return shipping costs in those cases.

18. Orders Placed Before 31-12-2023

If you have any questions about an order placed on oakandhyde.com before December 31st, 2023, especially concerning returns or refunds still in the pipeline, your best bet is to reach out to your bank or payment provider. They'll guide you through the chargeback process. Since we're the new kids on the block, we can't peek into orders or handle the cash for purchases made before that date.

Encountered an issue with your OAK & HYDE LTD purchase from the last 12 months on oakandhyde.com? That's really not what we like to hear. Even though we weren't the ones who handled your purchase, we're super keen on keeping you in the OAK & HYDE LTD family.

If you could send us an email with some photos and details about the issue, we'd love to look into it. We're hopeful we can find a way to assist you via email and ensure your experience ends on a high note!

19. Non-Received Items

We ship all our items using a tracked service which is very secure and reliable.

In the rare event your parcel is not received but the tracking details confirm that the parcel has been delivered at the address on the order and you state you have not received the item. We have no option but to open a claim with the courier, this will take up to 60 working days for the courier to settle the claim one way or the other. They will not allow us to chase the claim until this period has passed. We regret we cannot refund / replace orders in the event that the tracking shows that the goods have been delivered at the correct address until the courier accepts our claim to the contrary.

If your parcel is not received and the tracking details do not confirm that the item has been delivered correctly or at all, we will refund your order if the tracking does not confirm delivery after 14 business days from the estimated original delivery date (Royal Mail strike days are not classed as business days).

If your item does not arrive, you will need to notify us within 28 days of the order date, our couriers will not investigate non delivery claims once this time period has passed and therefore we would be unable to offer any further assistance in this instance. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.

Please inspect your order upon arrival. If you find any items damaged or missing, you must inform us within 28 days from the date of the order and prior to using the item. For us to process a claim with the delivery service, we need you to provide photographs of the damaged items and the original packaging. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Please note that if the items are verified as delivered correctly through weight checks, photographs, and/or delivery confirmation, and no contrary evidence is presented, we regret that we will not be able to pursue your claim further.

20. Contract

The processing of your payment and acknowledgement of your order does not constitute legal acceptance of your order. Our acceptance of your order will take place only when we despatch the order. Prior to despatch of the product(s), OAK & HYDE LTD has the right to decline an order for any reason, including legal and regulatory reasons or if a pricing error is found. We will notify you by e-mail as soon as possible to acknowledge that we have received and are processing your order. The duration of our contract with you will start from when your order is despatched, until the last day of your right to cancel.

If we cannot supply you with the product you ordered, we will not process your order, inform you of this in writing (by e-mail) and refund you in full as soon as reasonably possible.

If the fulfilment of an order (or any aspect for it) would be illegal or unlawful, including by reason of breach of export controls or sanctions rules, OAK & HYDE LTD has the right to stop or cease to fulfil the order at any time, including after despatch of products and/or notification to you that the order has been received and is being processed. You acknowledge that OAK & HYDE LTD shall incur no liability in such circumstances.

21. Our Use Of Cookies

Cookies are pieces of information that your browser stores on your computer's hard drive which identify you when you enter our website. The ability to select samples on our site is not cookie-driven. We may use session cookies to provide a seamless experience on the site and to combine with our log files so that we can understand our site traffic and analyse our demographic information in aggregate form. If you have set your browser to reject cookies, our site will not identify you when you enter and you will need to manually type in your e-mail and password.

Cookies are also used beyond the end of the current browser session for remembering the contents of your shopping basket. In addition, data is collected using 'AddThis', 'Google Analytics' and third party analytic tools to generate pseudonyms for user profiles. This information is used solely for market research, social networking and site traffic analyses.

22. Verify Customers Accounts / Address Information

OAK & HYDE LTD reserves the right to contact a Member via email to verify the accuracy of account information (including the customers correct name and address) that is needed to provide the customer with the information he or she requested from OAK & HYDE LTD.

24. Import Fees

Destinations located outside the EU may be subject to customs or import tax charges ('shipping and handling fees'). OAK & HYDE LTD are not liable to pay these charges, it is the customers responsibility to research and pay any customs or importation fees. These fees vary from country to country, any fees applied will normally be based on the total order value which is a legal requirement and is declared on every parcel. In the event you refuse to pay the import charges and would like the order returned to us instead there will be a return shipping fee charge which must be paid before we request the courier to return the parcel to us.

In some areas your government will not allow the courier to return the item to us in the event of charges not being paid, on these occasions the parcel will be destroyed, OAK & HYDE LTD are not liable for this and will make no refund for any destroyed items due to the refusal of taxes/import fees.
