We have teamed up with Renapur, a leading leather care company as we find this product works great on our footwear. The Renapur Suede and Nubuck protector is the perfect solution for protecting your favourite suede and nubuck footwear from marks and stains. It is colourless so will not affect the feel, colour or texture of the footwear, it also helps with water repellency.

The Renapur suede and nubuck protector is a safe and effective treatment that is free from harmful solvents, aerosols or any other aggressive substances.

How to use the Renapur Protector Spray

  • Surfaces must be clean and free of grease or cleaning residues before applying.
  • Spray the suede and nubuck leather evenly and generously until wet
  • Allow to dry for 24 hours to get full protection
  • Repeat annually or as required
  • We always advise trying any shoe care product on a small hidden area prior to full treatment to ensure you are happy with the finish.

Why do you charge for delivery now?
For a long time we offered free UK delivery on all Oak & Hyde orders. It’s something we’ve been proud to provide, and we’ve done our best to keep it that way for as long as possible.

However, the reality behind the scenes is that the true cost of making and delivering our shoes has continued to rise. Our footwear is handcrafted in Portugal and Spain using premium leather, produced in small runs by skilled makers who are paid fairly for their work. Once the shoes are made, they still need to be carefully packaged, transported to the UK, and delivered safely to your door.

Until now we’ve absorbed all of those delivery costs ourselves. Unfortunately with rising costs this is no longer sustainable

UK standard delivery will be £3.99 per order. This is a single flat charge, no matter how many pairs you order at the same time.

We’ve kept this as low as possible so we can continue focusing on what matters most, making high quality footwear at reasonable prices.

We still continue to offer free UK returns, so you can shop with confidence knowing that if something isn’t quite right, sending it back won’t cost you anything.

Your order has been sent to you using a Royal Mail trackable service, and you can follow its journey using the tracking number found in your order history.

1. Simply sign into 'Your account'
2. Select the order you wish to track
3. Click on the 'Royal Mail #XX12345678XX' link located beneath the product name you ordered.

How do I return my order?
You can return items to us within 30 days of receiving your order.

Any items returned should be clean, unworn and with the original tags attached, and MUST include the original box in as-received condition (no labels or tape attached).

Please also ensure you include your invoice with your return.

Returns Policy

We aim to make the returns process simple and hassle-free. Please return items in their original condition within 30 days of the delivery date. Items should be repackaged, brand new, unworn, and include all original packaging including the shoe box. 1 Returns label will cover up to two pairs, if you are returning more than 2 pairs, you will need an extra label for each additonal 2 pairs and these will need to be repackaged in a seperate parcel. Returns Conditions

Items can be returned unworn within 30 days of the delivery date for a refund.
You'll need your original invoice or note with your order number to include inside the parcel.
Items should be brand new, unworn, boxed and with tags still attached (where applicable).
The shoe box must be repackaged in either a plastic bag or cardboard box.
Please do not attach any labels or tape directly to the shoes box.
If your return does NOT meet our return policy conditions, it will be refused or incur a restocking fee
(at our discretion)

Christmas Returns

Any order placed from the 1st October is valid for extended Christmas returns up until the 31st January the following year.


All returns must follow our normal returns policy.

  • Repackage your order inside a box or plastic bag.
  • Attach the return label to your order.
  • Make a note of the tracking number shown on your label (ending GB)
  • Drop off at a Parcel Postbox or Delivery Office

Frequently Asked Questions

How long do refunds take?
Refunds are processed within 1-2 working days after receiving your return. It may take an additional 3-5 days for your bank to reflect the transaction.
Will Royal Mail repackage my return, or do I need to do it?
Royal Mail will not repackage your items for you. You will need to place the box inside a suitable packaging to return it, such as another box, or black bin bag securely sealed.
What will happen if my return does not meet the conditions?
If your return comes back after the 30 day return period, or with a damaged or defaced box, or if the product is used, soiled, or worn, we will send it back to you. We understand that sometimes the box might get a little damaged in transit, this won't impact your refund.
How do I let you know I would like an exchange?
Our system is set up for refunds only. Once your return is back and had a once-over by our team, we'll process your refund and let you know via e-mail. If you would like a different size or product, you will need to place a new order.
What happens if I experience a problem with my order?
We pride ourselves on quality, but we know sometimes things don't go as planned. If your order arrives and something isn't quite right, or it seems like there's been a mix-up or a possible fault, there's no need to worry.
